J Nicks Productions creates games, shows, films, and strange interactive ideas.
At J Nicks Productions, we believe the key to creating great content comes down to one thing. And once we figure out what it is, we'll really be in business.
In the meantime, we'll build, write, or produce anything and everything to keep you entertained. We throw a lot of spaghetti against the wall. And then when that's done, we get back to work.
Meet the Team
We're a small team of separate human beings, each playing a unique role. However, company policy dictates that we're never in the same place at the same time. This is for security reasons.

Jesse Nicholas
Founder & Creative Director
Our fearless leader - Jesse has been obsessed with learning and doing everything since graduating Boston College. Although the studio bears his moniker, his original name choices were, in order: 1. Coca-cola - already taken (soft drinks company) 2. Jose Altuve - already taken (professional baseball player) 3. Bluto's Bagel Emporium - available, but potentially misleading Jesse is irritating, uncharismatic, and lacking in all leadership qualities. Avoid if possible.

Desmond "Double Dice" Davidow
Head of Games
Des is a national chess master and avid puzzler who enjoys building and playing games of all kind, from logic puzzles to party games and everything in between. In 4th grade he spent every art class drawing mazes, showing he was destined for a career as either a game maker or a supervillain.

Herman Melville (no relation)
Head of Film & TV
Herman brings a wealth of creative experience to the team, particularly in children's television; he has worked on shows for Sesame Workshop, Disney, and Nickelodeon. He directed a video comedy troupe at Boston College, and is also trained in sketch writing and improv through UCB.

Zettabyte
Lead Engineer
Z's real name - if he ever had one - has been lost to history. He's an experienced software engineer, with hands-on experience building and scaling web applications and iOS apps. He studied math and economics at Boston College.
